Andrew now keeps a full time job!
His profession is DESTRUCTION! After stuffing a roll of TP down our toilet and flushing until it was brim full & clogged. He then strategically left it alone! I am sure this was part of his destructive plan, because his unknowing and "potty trained" sister got on the toilet and went pee and then she flushed! Well, within seconds I had a pool of pee water flooding my bathroom, the carpet and down the vent into my BRAND NEW basement. Brian was out of town!
Needless to say it was only seconds before I got to Emily's screams for help and the damage was already done. "Luck" would have that my Home Teacher just so happens to be in the Restoration business and he was at the house within 30 minutes of it happening. It's been just under 2 weeks since the flood and we are finishing the last step of restoration today... Carpet Cleaning (that I guess is the hidden bonus of having this happen).
Below are pictures of the initial work of restoring our house. It's been FUN!
As a side note, in the last 4 weeks we've had the following unexpected expenses:
1) Shattered Back Window in car and needed to be completely replaced - paid full auto deductible.
2) Electrician came out to fix some electrical issues we've been having.
3) the FLOOD - paid full homeowner's deductible.
4) Plumber came out just a few days later to UNCLOG ANOTHER TOILET Andrew stuffed a toy or "unknown hard object" down.
5) Brian's truck needed some unexpected work done.
They say they come in three's so can someone pre-volunteer to take my 6th one!
