Here's a recent family photo of us at Lagoon! We went down for the National Competition for clogging! Emily competed in her 1st ever clogging competition and did a little freestyle number! She was so prfoundly proud of herself that this smile was glued to her face for minutes afterward!
She LOVED it! She was a little professional dancer the whole way through, with her hands on her hips she moved her feet as fancy as she could. When her turn was done she clapped for all the others and loved every minute of it! That alone made our whole trip to Utah worth it. She got 2nd place, a nice medal and a ribbon! "Prizes!"
We had a great time with Grandma Hansen! We love you!
My two competing teams did well too and I am proud of them. They both took 2nd Place! As soloists my younger kids took 1st Place!
While the Clogging Competition got us down there it was not the only fun we had! We (Emily) rode tons of rides at Lagoon and filled that day with even more fun! The day before we went to Hogle Zoo, a definate family favorite! Very fun! It was a great post tax-season vacation!
