Easter!

Our Easter Holiday was full of sunny activities! The kids went on two Easter egg hunts throughout the week and loved it of course! Andrew was pretty sick for a few days so we postponted the egg coloring until Easter Sunday and it was fun to do on a very nice and relaxing day with Daddy home all day long! We have read our Easter books a hundred times in the last week and the kids are way into the Easter bunny!

Perhaps most important of all was that we took some time to sit and read with the kids the story of the Sacrifice and Resurrection of our Savior! As parents we hope that this story will be their most favorite of all!

Here comes the sun...do, do, do, do!

Spring is here! The bikes are out, the kids are loving it!

Aunt Mer came to go running with me and Emily took this awesome picture of her!

Had to post it!

Trip to Boise!

The kids and I took our annual "get out of dodge" trip to Boise! My brother Michael lives there with his two little ones and both my mother and my younger brother Ben met up with us from Spokane and Salt Lake. It was a fun trip! There were 4 kids 4 and under and at times it was quite a mad house!
Adeline! 2 yrs!
Cameron! 5 mos!
Emily! 4 yrs!
Andrew! 21 mos! He was sleeping during our photo shoot!
Grandma Karla read stories to all of the kids!
Emily read to Adeline!
Uncle Mike danced the "running man" to entertain us all!

We went to Zoo Boise!

Notice Emily's Surf-n-Slide position!

Grandma Karla brought Easter Gifts for all the kids!

We dared a shopping adventure with the 4 kids and by the end of and hour we seriously questioned our sanity!
We took them to the "largest" soft playground in Idaho and they wore themselves out!
Very fun!

There was a huge "micro-burst" in the middle of the night and my brother's tree fell through his fence on the neighbors house and split in two! It was amazing to see what ONE gust of wind could do to a small area of town! It was amazing. We also took several trips to the park, ate good food, had good visits, played with our bikes, watched good shows together and just enjoyed!
After that trip is over each year I get to come back home to only 2 or so weeks of tax season! It makes it seem doable!

Tax Season Time with Daddy!

During tax season time with Daddy is so very limited. The best and dependable moments for our kids revolve around family scripture study and prayer time. Sometimes those few minutes with Daddy happen before he leaves for work and other times they happen at night when he gets home right before bedtime. Other times they don't happen at all because they miss each other completely during the day.
Andrew is loving to "read" his own scripture lately! Sometimes he's right on and other times he adlibs, but not bad for a 21 month old!

Celebrating our Emily!

Happy 4th Birthday Emily!

March 19th...

was celebrated all week long!

Emily took FOUR suckers to each of her pre-school friends!

Grandma Karla sent Emily some adorable outfits and we had a fashion show!

Grandma and Grandpa Kearsley came to see Emily in the "Esther and the King" production and came by afterward for a birthday celebration!

Grandpa Richard and Kimmie came down for a day to see Emily in the show and to take her birthday shopping! A nice treat!

Emily also celebrated herself by having her own photo shoot! Very creative and tons of pictures. Thanks goodness for digital cameras!

The table that turns!

While Emily is phasing out of the "terrible" years Andrew is definately phasing in! I took all of the toys downstairs in hopes to limit the scattered mess ALL OVER MY HOUSE, ever time I turned around! Well, Andrew found his new toy cupboard and I have picked up this VERY SAME mess up to 4 times in a single day! Gotta Love It!

Notice the "snow angel" very symbolic of the tables that have turned! Don't get me wrong, she still has her moments! They're just different kinds of moments!
